Description DiscusX Fluke X – For 1300 liters – 20 g with praziquantel is a very effective and safe treatment for gill and skin parasites (gyrodactylus, dactylogyrus etc.) that cause the fish to itch and make them scratch against objects. Also effective against internal worms. This product is pure and only a small amount is needed for effective treatment, therefore it is very economical. Instructions: Clean aquarium glass, substrate and filter before treatment to reduce the load of organic waste. Add 1 scoop (included) (1 g) for every 190 liters of water. Treatment should continue for 8 days. Change the water daily between 70-100% and dose again according to the amount of new water you added. Tips: 1. For an effective treatment, raise the temperature to 28-29 C if your fish species can handle it. This will speed up the Dactylogyrus life cycle to ensure that all life stages of the parasite have reached adulthood and are killed. 2. Added salt (1g per liter) during treatment will improve effectiveness by removing mucus that can protect the parasite from the medication.
