Wormer X 20g

Description DiscusX Wormer X – 20 g is a treatment for pet fish with internal worms (Capillaria and Camallanus), parasites that can infect tropical fish. Instructions: Clean aquarium glass, substrate and filter before treatment to reduce the load from organic waste. On day one, add 1 scoop (included) (1 g) for every 500 liters of aquarium water and then wait 24 hours. ATTENTION! If you have a more persistent mask such as Camallanus is required, 1 scoop (1 g) is required for every 75 liters of aquarium water. After dosing, you need to do a large water change (at least 70%) and dose again according to the amount of water that has been changed. After 48 hours have passed. Then do a big water change to finish the treatment. For smaller volumes of water, add 1 scoop (included) (1 g) to 100 ml of water and stir until the powder is completely dissolved. From this solution take 1 ml for every 5 liters of aquarium water. Prepared solution should be stored in the refrigerator and used within a week. On day 15, repeat the treatment for another 48 hours. Repeated treatment is important to complete the treatment as the agent only kills the worms, but the eggs hatch after 2-3 weeks and re-infect the fish. Caution:Store in a cool and dry place, out of reach of children. For pet fish only, may not be used on fish intended for food. Wormer X does not affect filter bacteria. The treatment should take place in the aquarium with all the fish and with the filter running. If you use the agent in an aquarium without a filter or after using chloramine-T or bactocid (which kills biofilter bacteria), use a water treatment agent that protects against ammonia. It is also recommended to reduce / stop feeding to preserve water quality.
