Having worked in a professional restaurant and bakery, a bench scraper/dough cuter is one of my favorite kitchen tools in existence. You don’t need some top-of-the-line hand engraved jewel encrusted tool to do the job these do, and as far as random utility in the kitchen goes, these bench scrapers are great.Fair Warning: I do not use these to cut dough. I’m just not that big on breads after 10 years in a bakery XD. If you want a scraper for actual food work, see if another review can help you out, because I can’t help you there.However as far as quick kitchen cleanup, scrap collection, and food transfer tasks are concerned, these are just as good as any bench scraper, and being plastic makes me a lot less concerned about damaging countertops when I use it to collect thin layers of gunk that get splashed onto the counters.The one thing I will say that is a negative about these is that it seems a bit difficult compared to other scrapers I’ve had in the past to get grease off it. Even with dish soap it sometimes seems to stick to the plastic. However with a little extra time it will come off.Since this order came with two scrapers, I am able to use one for food prep and one for cleanup, keeping them separate for sanitary purposes which is nice. I’ve had them for about a year and never had any major longevity issues like cracking or snapping.Overall, given the price I cannot highly recommend them enough.
