Description The MMandLS Rocket Tools Post starts out as a new Genuine Taig Tool Post. The cutaway is done on a CNC mill. The rocker is also CNC machined and tumbled. The cutting edge of a lathe tool should be set right on or just slightly below the center-line of the part being machined. Most tools have to be shimmed to bring them up to the correct height. The MMandLS rocker tool post is designed to eliminate the need for shimming. The height of the cutting edge can be changed by simply adjusting the two clamping screws. With the Rocker Tool Post it’s easy to get the setup dead-on quickly, even with a multi-resharpened cutter, or an oversize one for an odd project.
