As such you can add liquids while blending without needing to remove the lid. Gripper LidShown above is the Gripper Lid. While it doesn’t have a locking mechanism, it does sit securely. Latching LidShown above is the Latching Lid. Compatible with jars manufactured after 2017. It clips under the top of the jar for a secure fit. Flat Hard/Soft LidAvailable in hard plastic (4 colours) or soft rubber. These are designed for highest efficiency and small volume blends with little splash as they do not provide a seal or locking mechanism. Cone LidSimilar to the latching lid, but made from 1 piece of flexible rubber without any plastic components. This lid is the new king in the Blendtec commercial lineup of lids. It combines the best aspect of the hard, soft and latching lid.
